You’re welcome to sign up for our competitive orienteering contest as long as you have some wheels: A four-wheel drive, a car or even a motorbike will do fine.

The race involves driving a set route mostly comprising off-road stages based on the GPS coordinates you are provided, with the help of a sat-nav device. Competitors receive a list of challenges—a kind of quiz—and need to find the answers/solutions to them at each of the coordinates. You’ll earn points for every correct answer. Final standings are decided based on the number of points you collect during the race.

Each team will need to complete daily stages, doing so individually. In other words, you can drive along the route as designated by the coordinates or explore and find your own routes and adventures—even on paved roads, if that’s more your thing. The point is that you’ll need to get to the respective finish line location every day. Of course, if you choose pavement, you’ll lose out points. Anyhow, don’t expect a guided tour: That’s not what this is all about, instead, it’s your very own great adventure!

Our lodgings will also serve as the start and finish lines. You’ll be arriving to a town or at least a settlement every night, where you can have dinner, buy supplies, fill up or even go wash your car. No need to come kitted out for survival over several days in the bush. Which is not to say that you shouldn’t have at least some spare supplies on you at all times. You should.

It’s possible for you to make your own accommodation arrangements, but purchasing the optional—though highly advisable—Hotel Package means that we’ll take care of that bother for you. The Hotel Package will guarantee a roof over your head for each day of the race, including the night after the results ceremony.

In most cases, you can count on clean and tidy twin or double-bed rooms with a bathroom—if not the Ritz—which usually include breakfast.
