TMGT has been one of the most successful off-road GPS spot-seeking challenge teams in Hungary in recent years. Its members chose their hobby because they love to travel and explore new places, so they quickly got hooked with doing those things off the beaten track. Literally. Team TMGT has tested its skills at every one of the races and race series organised in Hungary, winning multiple events, as well as combined event championships. The team has also seen international race success: They have a hat-trick of ‘Balkánturiszt’ championships, and have secured champion’s titles and podium finishes at multiple competitions organised out of Hungary and held abroad.

Team TMGT was created in 2011 from the merger of two teams: Gyula is from Gados Team, Lajos from Tak Mozhna Disco. Both of them initially favoured the “English Patient”, as the Land Rover Discovery is affectionately riled in Hungary, but their results provide ample proof to the capabilities of the vehicle. The team’s members have reached the northernmost tip of Europe, seen the ruins of Chernobyl, drove a stone’s throw from the Chinese border, battled the dust of the Silk Road, criss-crossed the USA East to West and in reverse, travelled all over Hungary, Transylvania, the Balkans and Greece, but they didn’t take a flight to Istanbul, either.

In 2015, TMGT was invited to create their very first adventure itinerary, and they’ve never looked back since, having successfully organised multiple shorter races in Hungary, and longer adventure tours abroad.
